Deep Release Bodywork
Wilmington, North Carolina
Wilmington, North Carolina
In Deep Release Bodywork sessions, I incorporate elements of many styles to form my own intuitive flavor. Some modalities I lean on:
~ energy work
~ Swedish massage
~ craniosacral therapy
I serve the Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and Leland areas of coastal North Carolina. (But I’d love to hear from you even if you live elsewhere — email me and let’s see what we can figure out!)
Book a session by emailing me at [email protected].
Please note: tips are not expected. My prices are set accordingly.
For a limited time, I am offering FREE craniosacral sessions to my paying clients. I am a student at the Upledger Institute and need to complete practice sessions as part of my study.
~ working together to bring parts of your body back online that have numbed out or that you’ve never consciously noticed
~ experiencing loving touch
~ tuning into any energies and emotions that may be underlying the tension in your body — and releasing whatever you’re ready to release, without hurry or pressure
~ deepening your level of embodiment
~ unblocking stuck potential
~ hold space for your self-healing
~ listen with my hands (and my ears, if you want me to)
~ drop in with you non-verbally
~ welcome all the feelings that come up for you
~ be your guide more than your mechanic, so this deepened connection can persist outside of our sessions
To hear more about Deep Release Bodywork sessions from people who have received them, and get a feel for my presence, check out the following conversations:
Tasshin Fogleman and I discuss the bodywork sessions we did while living together in New Mexico. He highlights the psychological and emotional healing that he experienced in these sessions. We go in all kinds of directions in this conversation — my work, how it’s different from other massages Tasshin’s received, my advice for getting the most out of receiving bodywork, philosophies I bring to my therapeutic presence, and more. The link is timestamped to the beginning of the bodywork portion. (The last half hour of the conversation is on animal friendship.)
Rosa Lewis and I discuss the bodywork session we did while on retreat together in Joshua Tree. The link is timestamped to the relevant section of the video, and you can also jump to the 7:30 mark to learn how imaginal journeying can play into bodywork!
In addition to the bodywork session we did, I’ve guided Rosa through a number of imaginal journeys, which we discuss at the 12:10 mark. This part of the conversation is just as relevant for bodywork clients, as the quality and texture of my presence remain consistent across mediums, whether it’s hands-on bodywork or remote imaginal journeying.
