End-of-Life Visits
Wilmington, North Carolina
Wilmington, North Carolina
I am trained as an end-of-life doula through the International End-of-Life Doula Association.
Transitional spaces — birth, weddings, death — are incredibly potent times. They constitute some of the most meaningful portals in our lives. Through my work I want to create containers for people to have gentler, more connected end-of-life experiences.
In an end-of-life visit, I will spend time with your loved one who is nearing their final breath. During these visits, I am honored to provide any or all of the following:
~ conversation with your loved one to get to know them better
~ light, comforting touch as approved by overseeing doctor
~ other forms of relaxation such as guided visualizations
~ respite for the caregiver(s)
~ quiet company at the bedside
~ help with meaning and legacy work that your loved one would like to compile about their life
~ the crafting and enactment of meaningful rituals
I serve the Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and Leland areas of coastal North Carolina. (But I’d love to hear from you even if you live elsewhere — email me and let’s see what we can figure out.)
I do not offer any medical services or advice, nor do I administer any medication.
Book a visit, or a free consultation call, by emailing me at [email protected].
